Two-station robot system reduces production times
Throughout Europe, a large number of modern four-axle freight wagons run on two-axle Y-bogies. Container wagons, wagons for transporting coils, tank and gas container wagons, etc. - almost all of them roll on Y-bogies. The automation of the welding processes significantly reduces production times. At the same time, high-quality seams are achieved. The two-station robot system always swivels and rotates the bogie frame into an optimum position for welding. A vertical conveyor with vertical stroke increases the robot's working range and carries out the changeover between the two welding stations.
