Change to automation at MAP
MAP Maschinen- & Apparatebau Produktions GmbH is increasingly investing in automated production technology. Last year, the Rathenow-based company commissioned three new robot systems from CLOOS. As a result, MAP is speeding up its production processes while increasing quality at the same time.
In the 2-station compact system, a QIROX QRC-350-E welding robot welds different components. The long reach of the seven-axis robot simplifies and speeds up the welding of the sometimes complex workpieces. The robot is mounted in an overhead position on a C-stand on a floor track. A carriage moves the robot in a horizontal direction.
